Key Account Director (Remote)

The Key Account Director will be responsible for driving business primarily from within the Home Entertainment and Social Media categories. Client Direct relationships in these sectors are preferable. 

You will be working within an experienced, friendly, and ambitious sales team to onboard clients at pace ahead of our first venue opening at Westfield London in the Spring of 2021. Additionally, you will be driving leads for further Situ Live venues in preparation for our rapid roll out expansion across the UK over the next 2 years. 

On a day to day basis your role will include strategic planning around your client base, lead generation, making new and growing existing client connections, responding to incoming brand enquiries, updating the CRM, creating/ personalising presentation decks for brands and presenting the Situ Live proposition both eloquently and passionately to potential brand partners. 

This role would be well suited to an individual who has real passion for one, or many, of the Situ Live Theatre areas (home entertainment, nutrition, connected living, automotive, sustainable world travel, fitness and/or wellbeing) who also has an inherent consultative sales style, strong sense of fair play, and a proven ability to convert deals at pace. 

The Key Account Director will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer.

Skills and experience: 

  • Media Sales / Agency/ Experiential/ Retail or Client Direct background (6 years +) 
  • Excellent communication and numeracy skills 
  • Proven experience in driving sales growth 
  • Strong presentation skills (delivering and writing) 
  • Senior level negotiator Relationship builder 
  • Closing ability 
  • Strong attention to detail Idea’s led and opportunistic in approach 
  • Familiar with using a CRM (HubSpot or similar) 
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Teams 
  • Comfortable with presenting research and insight data 
  • High level of self-awareness and emotional intelligence 
  • Team Player 
  • Cup half full attitude and good sense of humour a must 
  • Comfortable with remote working (this will be a home-based role for the foreseeable future) with occasional travel to London, Reading, and other parts of the UK as required.
