Junior Graphic Designer (Remote)

Preferable Location: London, Manchester, Reading   |   Full Time

Full time - remote working from home – occasional travel to Reading, London and Manchester


We’re looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to assist in the creation and management of Situ Live content across multiple areas including visual identity, campaign development (online and offline), web content, social media and UX design.


Situ Live is bringing some of the magic of theatre to how we shop for lifestyle technology products. We are building a unique digital platform that connects brands with mobile-first shoppers using live storytelling in premium high footfall locations and live streamed online.


We are opening our first premium retail venue later this year in Westfield London. Online we will be showcasing some of the best and most innovative products available with easy-to-use shopping tools taking the stress out of choosing what's right for our shoppers.


As a founding member of the team you will have opportunities to shape our brand identity and the visual communications we use to tell our story. As well as working with a mix of some of the largest and newest innovation brands in the world.


You will need to have a good understanding of how a brand operates and communicates their message clearly. Past experience creating brand and campaign content both online and offline is ideal but what we’re really looking for is a rule breaker, a hard worker and a maverick amongst creatives to push the boundaries and use your creative flair.


Skills and experience

  • Strong in-depth knowledge of graphic design and UI/UX design for digital content creation.
  • Some experience and an interest in videography/editing, motion graphic design and print production would be a distinct advantage
  • Educated to degree standard in a creative discipline (graphics, digital, illustration, animation, video etc) and/or a clear track record of working in a similar or transferable role.
  • Good understanding of typography, colour theory and proven application to brand guideline creation.
  • Advanced proficiency in the full Adobe Creative Cloud suite with experience in responsive design methods and some knowledge of HTML/CSS/Javascript an advantage.
  • Demonstratable experience of efficient and high quality export/rendering techniques and the underlying technical understanding  i.e., colour, codecs, frame rates, audio frequencies, aspect ratios, pixel depths etc.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, able to work alone as well as develop relationships working as an integral part of a team.
  • Comfortable and proficient at remote and mobile working.
